AEI offers Experiences that are specifically tailored to your needs. We believe that you deserve quality practical placements that will meet all your expectations. AEI Experiences are of different lengths, allowing you to plan your travel around your studies.  Talk to your school. You will be surprised by the support you will receive. Consider turning your Experience into a project. Make it a practical placement, required by many degree programs. Travel with friends who have similar goals. Don’t just dream about travelling and working with animals – invest in your future. AEI will help! Do you have an interest in wildlife medicine and would like to learn more about it? The AEI Manual Working with Wildlife written by Dr. Heather Reid, AEI’s Veterinary Coordinator, will provide you with the foundations required to work in this field.

Are you interested in gaining practical veterinary experience working with animals around the world? Get out of the classroom and into a clinic, field project, or wildlife hospital. Solidify your knowledge, gain practical skills and make important connections around the world. Whatever your veterinary interests and skill level, AEI will help you find the Experience that is right for you. Do your career goals include working in the field of zoo or wildlife medicine? AEI Experiences give you the opportunity to work with species not seen in your College Clinics. Would you like to develop your medical and surgical skills? Help with spay and neuter programs in developing countries and improve these skills while making a difference. Select an Advanced Veterinary AEI Experience and you will be guaranteed the level of veterinary involvement you desire.

By selecting an Advanced Veterinary AEI Experience you can be assured that your Vet Tech/ Vet Nurse knowledge and skills will be fully maximized.

AEI Field Officers have personally visited each Experience to ensure that they meet our high standards. You will be in safe hands with AEI - while travelling to distant countries and having the time of your life.
