Dogs Rescue and Care in Kenya.

pokharaHumane care and socialisation so dogs can be adopted in Nairobi.This shelter doesn't just pick these animals up - they rescue them. All of the animals that have been brought to the centre will have the chance to be adopted in the community. To ensure these adoptions are successful, the staff and volunteers do everything they can to make these animals feel safe again.

Dogs in Sierra Leone.

Humane animal population management.Already in poor health, it is common for these stray dogs to die from starvation and from lack of shelter. The feral dog population also poses a very serious health risk to the people of Sierra Leone through dog bite injuries and the transmission of rabies.

This placement is suitable for all volunteers. Tasks can be changed to better suit the needs for any Medical or Standard volunteer.
